Hi Yall,
Bill, totally disagree with your analysis! Re, your story about breakfast with a kind and generous Palestinian family, yes there are those kind of people in all nationalities, and I surmise you came across, by chance, a kind and generous family.
When looking at YouTube this morning I came across a site that encapsulates my limited knowledge of the situation. I will put it on here if you would like to see it.
"Whose land is it? Palestine or Israel?" A 1982 documentary looks at this Issue with Old footage. It is by David Hoffman.
As for Israel treating their neighbours terribly, ALL and I mean ALL the conflicts between Palestinians and Israelis were started by the Palestinians or the other Arab neighbours, from 1948 when the State of Israel was declared by Ben Gurian and all other Wars since, and yes the Israelis kicked their arses well and Truly in all instances! In these instances what would you have them do (backed into a corner they are entitled to fight back)?????
Shalom!
Holidays??

Re: Holidays??
Hi Bill look forward to reading it. Personally, I am sick of the whole sickening episode, yes this 'Holidays' topic should not be corrupted by this kind of activity. I do apologise for bringing it up on this topic. Sorry.

Re: Holidays??
Arnie,
on second thoughts l'm going to give this one a miss. People have been debating this since the Jews ran away from Egypt ... and look where it got them, still fighting today.
l have more reasons than a free breakfast to base my opinion on, as you know l'm not keen on Arabs, also for many reasons, but my sympathy remains with the Palastinians even if l abhor their indiscriminate rocket attacks.
War is madness and is effectively just another handfull of nails in the coffin of our climate !
'nough said.

Pinky,
l can send you some orange seeds to plant ... next week.
You could become the first tropical fruit producer in Canada ...
lf you're not away on a cruise when they need water

Re: Holidays??
HI Bill,
Currently no travel plans. With our unpredictable weather I wouldn't dare plant anything right now.
Got my winter tires on the cars already 'cos its just a matter of time.

Re: Holidays??
We are going away for a few days, only a couple of hours drive from home. We have long wanted to overnight in a cave house. Thousands if people still live in caves in Spain and rent out rooms ... will update you all afterwards.
