I knew Fozzie very well in the early 80's. We were both in the same troop - 2nd troop B squadron.
During that time he was operator / loader on 22A with Malachy Cullen as his comdr.
He was one of the best chieftain driver mechs in the squadron.
He was an experienced and well respected soldier and a superb marksman with small arms.
A great character in the troop who was often the life and soul of the party in the sqn bar.
I can still hear him singing 'come on Eileen' ...…he will be missed.
May he rest in peace.

The name Fozzie was well known to me in the early days of Höhne. Yet another comrade who has departed far too early. Rip young fella, Rip.
