Hi Yall,

Bill and all, nothing wrong with me. Just some hemeroids (long, long time) and recently in the left leg DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) doc gave me medicine which I will have to take for 6 months.

No my being knackered was from looking after Brenda, doing all the cooking, shopping, cleaning etc. She is suffering from long time Arthritis in the neck and other places. After very frequent visits to the Doc, he is slowly coming to the conclusion that it may be Lupus. In for life but once identified, manageable with medicines.

Over the last several weeks I have been taking her to various hospitals for tests, cardio/lungs and flexibility. Just waiting for an appointment to see a specialist Rheumatologist.

She is a stubborn bi.ch. She has a walker, not a zimmer frame but something with a seat and 4 wheels, but insists she doesn't want everyone to think that she is getting 'old'. When greeting friends and they ask how she is? The usual reply is "I'm Fine". Me, my usual response to the same question is, dreadful, with a big smile on the mush.

Her ex is also in this Retirement village, long story so I won't bore you with it, and has a Gopher, electric trolley, which we made him buy. We have one on order and much more powerful and the RR of Gophers (No ! His name is not Jones's) Funnily enough, for 20 years he hated my guts but now is a good mate! Go figure.

Anyway you all look after yourselves and you Bill, consider selling your motorbike or stop following goat tracks, particularly up mountains!!

No way, I shall got out with a bang, burnt out and totally wasted   .

Getting the right diagnosis is for certain half of the battle. All too often treatments get applied blindly.

My best tip is eat wisely and do lots of exercise. People who carry their walkers hardly have mobility problems :? :? :?

Tell Bren she can always take a pause down in Blue Bell Woods, C-C-H, where we used to play as kids
