Re: Our very good Friend Mick?

Bill, we are 'still on top' but you might get an argument from the Kiwis! The only thing that I see any difficulty with is cricket or rugby. Being an ex-pat I always say to the Aussies "I Only support 2 teams and they are The All Blacks and anybody else playing Australia". Drives them MAD. My opinio...

Re: Our very good Friend Mick?

Bill, your last line I disagree with! There is no competition with the venerable Mick Burgess. Agree with you about 'square bashing'. I joined the Regiment in Hohne in May 1959. One of my first tasks was typing the format of the forthcoming presentation of a new Guidon in 1961. This included the new...

Our very good Friend Mick?

Hi yall,

I know Mick told us of his impending treatment in hospital, and that he would be 'ex-communicado' for a while, but does anyone know of his current situation? It is not the same without his incisive submissions to any topic.

Re: Garden in lockdown.

Bill, agree with everything you say about Bob Harrison, a million thanks to him for doing all the work and keeping the site viable. It is a shame about what happened to the old site and the advent of Facebook. Its good to hear you are back in Spain. Is it your intention to move between the 2 each ye...

Re: Garden in lockdown.

Bill, does Rahi see these posts of yours? If she does she must have a great sense of humour, to withstand the comment about the trailer seat. Brenda understands my horrible sense of humour. Sort of 'joke' I can never resist. When the cashier in any shop asks the question, "Do you want a bag for that...
